Community Collaboration and Coalition Building

Community Collaboration and Coalition Building are critical strategies that ensure a comprehensive, complementary, and sustainable system of care in the community. 

HOP offers a range of training and consultation services addressing Community Collaboration and Coalition Building, including:

  • Coordinating Health Outreach Programs Training – hands-on learning in outreach program planning and evaluation, supervising program staff, strengthening data collection mechanisms, and time management.
  • Conducting a Community Needs Assessment Training – interactive instruction on defining the parameters of community needs assessment efforts, selecting appropriate data collection methods, addressing data analysis considerations, and utilizing information obtained to provide services for underserved communities.
  • Maximizing Use of Community Resources – consultation and training modules on strategies for effectively using resources from other health and social services agencies, community organizations, and volunteers to maximize outreach efforts.
  • Community Coalition Services – consultation and training modules offering guidance on starting or effectively participating in a community coalition to increase access to care for underserved populations and streamline service delivery within the community.
  • Needs Assessment Consultation – facilitation of needs assessment planning and design process and recommendations and feedback on data collection tools and assessment activities.
